The Pelvic Floor and Mula Bandha

The pelvic floor is often either misunderstood or overlooked altogether in our culture's wellness conversation. It is, however, an integral player in each of our movements, our dynamic stability, and within the ease of each breath we take. When we understand the role of the diaphragm and the pelvic floor as essential team players in our deep core musculature, we can begin to reconsider our relationship to our breath in a centering, stabilizing, and grounding way. Join Stefanie in taking a deep dive into the fascinating world of the pelvic floor. This workshop will provide a framework for understanding the pelvic floor & its core connection, the synergistic role of breath, as well as movement strategies and practical application for strong, supple, and centered wellness. Anyone with a pelvis is welcome to attend!

3 hours of credit for yoga teachers toward 1.1's 300 hour Advanced Yoga Certification upon successful completion of this workshop.
